Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6/25/2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what we store in your browser when you visit the Noque website, why, and how you stay in control. In short: the website's audience measurement is anonymous and cookieless, so we don't ask for consent or show a cookie notice.

1. What cookies are (and similar technologies)

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember a preference from one visit to the next, for example. Alongside them there are similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, which does a similar job. When we say "cookies" here, we also mean that similar storage.

2. What we use on the website

Essential and preference (always on). These make the site work and remember simple choices of yours, such as the language you chose. Without them the site works worse (for example, your language won't be saved).

Audience measurement, always anonymous and cookieless. To understand how many people visit the site, which pages are most useful, and how the site performs, we use three services, all cookieless and without creating an identifier that follows you:

  • Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and pages;
  • Vercel Speed Insights, which measures page speed and stability;
  • PostHog (on servers in the European Union), in anonymous mode: it stores no cookie or storage in your browser and creates no profile that recognizes you from one visit to the next. It helps us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

Because none of this uses cookies or identifies you, there is no cookie notice to accept or reject.

3. The admin panel

The part of the site at /admin is for the Noque team's internal use and relies on a session cookie only to keep Noque staff signed in while they edit content. That cookie has nothing to do with you as a website visitor, and it disappears when the session ends.

4. How to stay in control in your browser

You're also in charge of your browser. You can view, block, and delete cookies and local storage in its settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data." Each browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) has its own path. If you block essential storage, parts of the site may work worse (for example, your language won't be saved).

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll publish the new version here on this page with the update date.
